Being a military child means being a child who can move around and experience exploring different places. I am a military child myself, and I love being able to learn about different cultures, different languages, different holidays, etc. The month of the military child starts in April. During April people show recognition to children and parents/guardians who travel the world for work. Your parents could go on deployment, but they will come back happier than ever to see you again. Military children have to be stationed at different places for 2-3 years or longer.

As a military child, someday you will have to move away from your best friend. Eventually, you will meet more people and experience different personalities with your friends. It can be sad to leave your friends but it will also be exciting to move to a different place and meet new people!
