When others are asked where they’re from

It’s an easy answer “I’m from so and so” but for me

I pause and I wait I don't know what I’m supposed to say

Do I say the place of my early years or

Of my teens or rather where I am now

But instead of saying all the places that home once was

I simply just say “everywhere” to keep it short

And still I pause every time and think of all the places that are my home
