2024/Danika-

My name is Danika, I am 11 years old, and I will tell you how I feel about being a military child. The places I've lived in are Okinawa, North Carolina, and Illinois. The experiences I've had are trying new foods, learning new languages, going to Tokyo Disney, Shibuya, Orange County fair, and much more. The challenges I have had to face are leaving my friends and not being able to go to my favorite restaurants and my favorite stores.

Now I will be telling you about the advantages of being a military child. I get to go to new places like Disneyland, Top Golf, Six Flags, Hawaii, Virginia, Tokyo and many more. I also get to meet new friends and get new pets. Some of the things I celebrate no matter where I go are, Christmas, New Years, birthdays, 4th of July, and Thanksgiving.

My advice is not to make too many friends because when you move it will be sad. But don't worry about moving because it is fun to try new things.

In my conclusion, being a military child is good because you can do new things. I'm grateful that I am a military child because other kids won’t have the same experiences as me. I'm glad that I am a military child.
