2024/Kenji-

Hello my name is Kenji. Let me tell you about myself. I don't have much experience with planes because the last time I got on a plane was when I was around 3 or 4, and when I drive in cars I get motion sickness really often so I think I would not enjoy a plane as much as other people do. But one thing that deeply upsets me is having to move and losing good friends I had.

Traveling around is fun when you have a cellphone so if you make good friends you can keep in touch with them and explore new places. One advantage I had while traveling was seeing the amazing beaches they have on the island of Okinawa.

The biggest challenge I have faced was deployment. My military parent is my dad. The longest he ever got deployed was 6 months! He’s been deployed 4 times, but the other times it wasn't that long. So this is why I hate deployment.

Being a military child is good because you make a lot of friends while moving to new places. And maybe visit a couple of landmarks.

And advice for you if your military parent gets deployed is that you can spend a lot of time making something meaningful for them, that helped me pass the time. Therefore, in my opinion I believe being a military child is a good thing. And I think that it is very unique to be one!
