Hello, My name is Mila and I am 10 years old. I am a military child. I love going on airplanes and meeting a new friends by moving to different places. I never ate boba until I came to Okinawa also I didn't even know what boba was. Now, I love boba. Next we are going to talk about challenges. First, my challenges were that we needed to move to a different place that took 16 hours or 24 hours to get here. The second challenge was making new friends in Okinawa. The third challenge is I had to leave my family, but I didn’t want to leave my family behind and come to a different place and it's also really hard for them. The first place I ever went and was born was in Okinawa, when I was 2 years old we went to California and now we're back in Okinawa. It was a fun time meeting new friends and other military families. Also, as a military child you can also experience a different island or a different city. I enjoy going to California to my dad's workplace because he's in the military and he has to work in different places to help the community.
