Hi, my name is Owen and I am not a military child but I do know that it's very hard. There are some good things about being a military child and some hard things.
Some of the good things about being a military child is you get to go to a lot of places and do a lot of fun things. It's also great meeting new people and going to new schools. When you move overseas you can go to cool places like Tokyo Disneyland and Universal Studios in Osaka.
Now I'm going to talk about the hard things about being a military child. For one, you have to move around a lot and say goodbye to friends when it's time to leave. There are also the times when your parents will get deployed. That's when your parents have to leave for work.
Some places I have been are Philadelphia, Fukuoka and Okinawa. I love Philadelphia because it was where I grew up and I love the Eagles. One reason I like Fukuoka is because it's where I really learned to read well. I love Okinawa because it's beautiful all year round and there's a ton of pools and the beautiful ocean.
In conclusion, I think being a military kid is cool because you get to go to a lot of places and do a lot of new things. I wish I was one but I'm not, so good luck if you are one!
