2024/Scarlett-

Hi I’m Scarlett! I’m 10 years old and sometimes I like being a military child and sometimes I don't.

I have lived in California, Washington D.C., Italy, Hawaii, North Carolina, Delco, Ocean City , Atlantic City, Okinawa, Delaware, and Virginia. When I’m older I want to travel the whole world. What I don't like is moving, sometimes I really like the place and we have to move away but I know it’s going to be worth it.

Sometimes there's challenges that you're going to have to face like moving schools, packing, moving, and Airplanes too but when you face them nothing can get in your way and you will already have experiences too. I've had experiences like going to Disneyland and Sea in Tokyo, living in a Japanese house, and going to Las Vegas.

You might not think your parents aren't going to leave you but they can go on deployment. Some advice when your parents are on deployment (because this happened to me once) is you could ask a counselor, a teacher, or somebody to talk it all out.

What I love about being a Military child is that we get to travel around the world and go on vacations and sometimes we get to see family and friends. We also somehow manage to find a way to go on a vacation. I love being a military child because I get to travel around the world.
