I am a military child

People think its nice

But year after year its wild

Next year I might be skating on ice

I get to see places you might never see

I get to meet people around the world

I’m losing friends left and right so just let me be

My friends from the other side of the world

I miss my friends

Sometimes I want to cry

I hope this nightmare will end

I really don't know why

But on the good side I make new friends

Sometimes I wish it will never end

It is a weird mix of emotion

And now I show devotion

You can watch me roar

You can’t watch me cry in a cave

Being a military child

Means I am strong and brave
