Being a military kid can be sad and challenging. I remember feeling sad and missing my friends when my family moved to Guam.

Being a military kid is having to leave my old friends though I still have a friendship with them I still miss them. I had a lot of old friends back then but i will never forget about the friendship I had with my old friends. When I was five my dad left me to shore for 2 years just to serve and protect the country.

My dad had to fight off different kinds of ships. I love my school now but I will still miss and love my old teachers and friends. I still love my school now because I have new friends and teachers.

Why it's sad to be a military child for me is my family and I have to move to a different house because we had to move. We had a lot of memories in the house we used to live in.

It could be sad for other kids or people, but all of this is why it’s sad for me to be a military kid. I keep the memories close and make the most of the next place we move with my family.
