Are you a military child? Being a military child can mean many things. For me, my dad is in the Air Force. It can be hard sometimes but I know how to face the challenges that come upon me. Today I will go through some challenges you might face that could happen. First hard challenge - Moving Somewhere Else.
Moving somewhere else can be really hard. You can move to almost anywhere in the world. What you must do to finish this challenge is when you arrive at your destination the first thing you want to do is Find a New Friend. This will help you get your mind off of your old living space and focus on what is ahead of you. Now time for challenge two - Going to a new school.
Heading on to a new school can be hard sometimes. Each school you go to, you will have to work in a space where you don’t know anyone. To succeed in this challenge there are three steps. First, ask your teacher who they recommend sitting next to. Second, after getting along with your new friend, start sitting by new people to get to know them. Finally, step three, now since you know a lot of people, you are in an environment where you have friends to ask for help and you will be having a good time.
Challenge 3 - Deployment. Deployment is when your parent that is in the military has to go somewhere else for a couple of months for work. Your school will get notified so they can offer a kit to help you along a period of time. The kit provides fun activities you and your guardian can do. This will make the time go by really fast and when your parent comes back you will have a mix of emotions since they were gone for so long. But now that time is over. Challenge 3 - Completed!
Good job, you have completed the three hard challenges a military child can face. Now since you know what to do when these occur you can go through them like a piece of cake. Altogether, there are many challenges you can go through but with a little help they will become the easiest thing to overcome.
