Daniel K...
Daegu Elementary School
I am a very happy and grateful military child named Daniel Hyunseo Ko. My family was stationed at Fort Bragg, United States, and Kaiserslautern, Germany. But Now I live in Daegu, South Korea. I am attending Daegu Elementary school in Camp George.
By going to three different Dodea schools, I have experienced various classmates and teachers who are very unforgettably fun, kind, sharing, and respectful, and very hardworking, and teachers who were very kind, caring, and helped me solve hard questions.
I have a lot of privileges like going to base, having delicious steak at the steak houses, and eating fast food at the food court. I can use the soccer field, swimming pools, and basketball court with my classmates with saftey. I can hold birthday parties in the bowling alley.
Being a military child, however, could be tough even with great teachers, great friends, and great schools. It is because if one of your parents/guardians is in the military, it requires moving around the world so you would mostly be unable to see your friends again. You will miss beautiful landscapes, parks, or food from the country.
Even though I miss so many things, I can always find, and learn new things. I learned horseback riding in Germany that I thought I will never forget but after I came to South Korea, I found a more professional horseback riding academy. You will never expect what is waiting for you.
