2025/Minka -

I am an 11 year old girl currently living at my 7th duty station. My family and I live on a very small base located in Daegu, South Korea. Being a military child is awsome.I always get to travel and see new things.I’m in Daegu and I have already learned a lot.My father is in the military and works hard all day.

I've always had to move every 2-3 years so I’m used to it by now.I've lived in 8 different houses throughout the 7 times I’ve moved.Everytime we move I get a chance to learn about new cultures and try different foods.I’ve lived in Kansas,Korea,Germany,Italy,Kentucky,Texas,and now back in Korea.

I always have to overcome the challenges of moving again and again.I always have to get boxes and pack up my room again.I always have to go to different schools every 2-3 years and I don’t really like that.My dad is usually at work or on deployment.I don’t get to see him as often as my mom.

My mom is always home when I get home from school but my dad is rarely home when I come back.But that's ok,because when he’s home it's great we always go somewhere.I love when we go on a family vacation and my dad is with us.So life of a military child is great.
