Life of an Military Child

Being a military child is not an easy thing, but it’s an advantage because you are proud that your parents are part of the military and go to different places and make friends. You can also see times when your parents are gone and can be sad, but you’ll see them!

First, the pros for PCSing is you can go and see lots of other places and travel around the world. Ex, let's say that you are in S. Korea and your parents got an order to go to Germany. When you get there, you can travel.

Next, the pros, you can maybe get better friends than the ones you had which could help you a lot socially. Ex, someone doesn’t like friends at home. But when the person gets to the new home, the friends are nicer.

Last, the pros, your parents are deployed and that is bad, but you can call them. Unlike before, people couldn’t even talk to each other while their parents were away but now we have the technology to do that. Ex, you miss your parents, get your phone and see them.

This essay explains that there are many pros and cons for being a military child, you can make new friends, and your parents are deployed but you can call or see them anytime on phones. So being a military child there are more things good than bad.
