My name is Dominic. My hobbies include going to school.

It’s the best thing for me. I love Legos, Gundam robots

and Pokémon cards. I also love spending time with my best

friend, Justin, at SAC, and I also love to

hangout at my mom’s work. I like talking to Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Karen. They are so nice. My favorite thing to do is going on a trip with my family and getting to stay in a nice hotel. I like to have a breakfast buffet while I’m there. My family likes to watch movies together every Friday night.

My mom’s name is Deseree Castro. She works at the Child Development Center here in Hario, Sasebo, Japan. Her husband, my Dad, is Dennis Castro, and he works for the Navy.

My Mom says that she likes the opportunity to be part of other military kids' lives, being there for them when their parents need to work or going on a deployment, discovering and understanding child emotions that helps her as a parent to her kids as well. She says that the most interesting thing about being a military spouse is the privilege to have the chance to live, experience one's culture like Japan. We get to see beautiful spots and taste their delicious foods and meet friends that turn into family. My mom’s hobbies are cooking, watching Korean dramas, collecting Starbucks cups and tumblers, and going to Daiso or 100 yen stores. She likes the food here in Japan, going to the spa and having time to relax once in a while. Her favorite thing to do is going on a trip with her lovely family and spend quality time with them.
