Been in the same place for most of my life. Everyone knows me, and I know everyone. I’m content where I am, and I wanna stay here! No, Mom, I don’t want to live in Japan! But we’re Going anyway. Time to say goodbye!
After sixteen hours on a plane, here I am.
Could someone just talk to me? I’m not used to being the new kid! Vacation back home is too far in the future. I know I should acclimate, but I’d rather wish it all away. Light here, dark there, this all feels so surreal. I’ve made some new friends after lots of awkward moments. It’s All (mostly) better after six months of adjustment. But I can Never quite forget all those I left behind.
