2025/Charly-

I am a military child. This is what it is like as a military child. One of my favorite memories is when we came to Korea my little brother was so tired he fell asleep on the floor it was so funny we all laughed so hard but quietly. We called him “floor baby”. We had a lot of fun times in Korea. One of the most interesting places I am living in is Korea. It is different because people speak Korean so that sometimes makes it hard to know where we are. At my new school, I met Daniella. As soon as I saw her, I asked her if we could be friends. She said yes. We’ve played over the years. We met in second grade. We ended up in the same class in third grade. We have been best friends for a long time. My dad is a Major. His job in the army is a CRNA. His job is to help others and give them the right medicine when they need it. I like how he helps others. When I grow up, I want to be like him. I want to have a job to help others. Being a military child has made me stronger because it gives me time to make tons of friends and say goodbye. Sometimes I even see old friends and it makes us very happy when we end up together like when I moved to Korea, I met up with my friend Lily who I knew in El Paso. I have a feeling that we will end up together again one day. Every year we celebrate Christmas together. It is always fun to open presents when Santa comes. We like to all wait in the morning for each other. It is the only time I allow them to wake me up in the mornings…but they still do it on school days.
