2025/Frederick-

One of my favorite moments about being a military child is when I met my friend Tate in the U.S.A. He was my best friend because he was nice and we had the same sort of humor. We worked really well together and just understood each other more than any else that I knew. He would give me snacks at parties and he was very kind and forgiving. He was also very smart and was very flexible in all subjects. We had different skills that made us good. I was really good at math, (I'd say I was the best in class at it,) but Tate was good at reading and writing. He was also able to think of very good strategies to do stuff faster or better, sometimes the teacher didn't even think or know the things he thought of were a thing. Also, he was very fast at one point in time he was faster than me but I think i am now a lot faster. We would play games at recess like four corners, tag and some other games that were really fun. I liked talking to him at lunch about things because it felt like he was someone who made my day better. He was funny and we talked about topics ranging from anime to food to youtube and many more things. Sometimes there would be accidents between, like when I had tripped on his shoe and he thought it was on purpose or when I said things that I truly did not mean. This was all in 1st grade and I think Tate was one of the best friends I could've ever had.

Even though our relationship had its ups and downs it was mostly good and it was one of the most memorable things in my life.
