Humphreys Middle School
My military journey began when I moved to Florida and met my dad. I was living a great life, but everything changed when he got deployed to Kansas. Over the next five years, I missed him. Eventually, my family decided to move to Kansas, where I attended Black Panther Elementary. I was only six years old and had just entered second grade. Unfortunately, I struggled to make friends and faced bullying instead. Luckily, the military office transferred us to Fort Carson in Colorado, just in time to keep me from quitting school. Once we arrived in Fort Carson, I made around fifty friends and had a lot of fun in Colorado. Now, I find myself in South Korea, which is exciting, but I still miss my friends back in the States.
