Being a military child is hard, you have to leave friends, family, and move to completely different countries,and cities, but there are some good things, like you get to meet new people, try new foods, and make new friends! There are lots of awesome things about being a military child, but sometimes it can be really hard. My name is Emma Stevens and I will be telling you about my life as a military child.

I was born in Germany, how cool is that! I’ve met some really nice people and made some really close friends! It has been very hard to watch those friends leave or leave those friends, but I've always made new ones. Sometimes it is hard to make new friends, but that doesn’t mean it is always easy. I have probably moved at least 10 times in my life, and I am 10 years old!

I have tried so many new foods. I have done so many different things. And so far, they have all been awesome. I have lived my whole life witnessing new things, people, schools, and countries! I may not like every little part of my life, but I am so thankful for it!

I think military kids have got a good life. We have explored so many different places. Done so many things. And have met so many different people! We are brave, kind, smart, strong, and UNIQUE!
