Being a military child is hard because every 3 years or more I would have to move to a different place leaving behind everything I’m used to. I would also have to adapt to new schools, people, sometimes languages. Another hard thing is leaving my friends and family when moving. When I move it’s really hard to move on from the old thing I had when I lived there. My dad works as a marine and my mom works as a teacher at KDES and it’s fun to have your mom teach you at school. One good thing about being a military child is I get to play sports all around the world like baseball. Another good thing about being a military child is trying new foods and getting stuff limited to your location. Something that's hard is making new friends and not missing your other friends from an old school. I was born in California and then moved to South Carolina and then to Okinawa. Being a military child is really just moving a lot and it’s sometimes good and bad, it depends on how you see it.
