Being a military child is challenging, but you get to move all over the world and you get to move to amazing places like where I live right now, Okinawa, Japan. Being a military child is challenging because you have to move and travel a lot. You spend 2 to 3 years in each home you have and then you move. When you are a military child, you get used to flying in airplanes whenever you're finished with all of the places you've been to and are probably going to pick where you get to go and then that's your forever home if you choose. You have to leave behind a lot of good friends as a military child. Wherever I went I always made amazing new friends and, if you're a military child you will too.

When you are a military child, you need to try a lot of new things such as food, language, and different cultures. You are also going to adapt to new stuff like not knowing what anybody says and how to use new stuff like when I moved to Okinawa, I needed to adapt to stuff like using chopsticks. It was pretty easy to learn but still you still have to adapt to it and also it is hard to go to restaurants when you don't know what they’re saying and they don't know what you're saying.
