2025/Tristan-

Being a military child isn’t that easy, we have to move all over the place, which is fun but the thing is when you move you leave all the people you knew behind, and the chance of seeing them again isn’t likely. For example, someone I really enjoy being around with is moving away this summer and that breaks me. This person has been in my class for three years and is smart, funny and just fun to be around. But whenever you hear someone is moving away you don’t just stand there unharmed, you feel like you're broken. Me and my friend have this figured out though, and we can keep in touch using messenger kids.

So here are some good things about being a military child. You don't have to be bored sitting in one place, you can explore new countries that you have never been to. Also, you can always make more and more friends so if someone messes with you, they always have your back. And another thing that's good, is my education, because I’m a military child I have access to DoDEA schools which can expand my learning and my life skills. All of these I get to enjoy is because of my dad, he works countless hours protecting our country from threats so I’m so grateful to him and I always will be. So, every military child is lucky to have a mom or dad willing to protect their children any day.
