Imagine standing above the devastating event in Pearl Harbor called World War II and seeing the USS Arizona. That's just what I did on my Spring Break. In my opinion being a military child is the best thing ever! You get to travel to cool places, participate in cool events, but one reason it is challenging is that you have to leave friends and family. I hope you learn a lot about being a military child when you read my paper.
The best thing I like to do is travel around the country. I can travel to cool places. Why I like to travel to places is that you can get to see Pearl Harbor, and see the USS Arizona in Hawaii. Another reason is that I traveled from Jacksonville to Okinawa Japan when I was four. My third reason is that I can travel to my cousin's elders and uncles that live in Pennsylvania. Those are my reasons that explain why I like to travel.
From my point of view I like being a military child. I like participating in events. I like participating in events like being in the military for a day. I also like participating in the kids kickball game and scoring a ton of points. Another event I like participating in is the Easter egg hunt at church because I get a ton of eggs. Those are my reasons that I like participating in cool events.
One reason why it is challenging is that you have to leave friends and make new ones. For example, at my old house I had a ton of friends named Jason and when I moved to Japan I had to leave him. Another reason is that I made new friends here in Japan but I had a ton of friends in America. My third reason is that leaving friends feels awful because you can't see them for a long time. Those are my reasons why meeting and leaving friends is both good and bad.
Now you know why being a military child is the best thing ever! You get to travel to cool places like Hawaii, Okinawa, Pennsylvania, and South Dakota. you get to participate in cool events like being in the military for a day and kids kickball games. But sometimes it's challenging and you have to leave friends and family. Thanks for reading my writing. I hope you are convinced that being a military child is a great experience and I hope you get to travel too!
