Imagine this: on your plate is something you've never seen so you take a small bite and it's the best thing you've ever had! It’s gyoza- Japanese dumplings! From my point of view being a military child is exciting and hard. The first reason why it is exciting is you're safe, the second reason why it is exciting is you get to try new foods and the reason it is hard is because your parents go on work trips. I hope you think being a military child is exciting if not keep reading

The first reason it is very exciting is because you're safe! For example I can run around my neighborhood safely. My neighborhood is on base and right by a hospital. if you were a military child you would probably live on a base and bases are safe. These are three things that prove that being a military child Is safe.

The second reason it is very exciting is because you get to try new foods! For example, when I first went to Lawsons I tried lots of stuff like corndogs! I also tried ramen noodles, and they are delicious. I also tried Japanese sausages and they are weird! These are three things I tried in Okinawa that I liked.

The reason why it is hard is because your parents can go on work trips. For example, my dad has gone to the USA three times. He went to Washington D.C. Another example is my Dad went to Korea one time. Another example is my dad went to the Philippines for a day, and the next week he went again. My dad goes on a lot of trips to a lot of places.

That’s my point of view that being a military child is exciting and hard. It’s safe because you’re on base, you get to try new foods like corn dogs, but the reason it is hard is because your parents can go on work trips like to the Philippines. I hope that you think that being a military child is exciting and hard but a great opportunity!
