Imagine being at the aquarium looking at the beautiful fish and waves that make you calm. That may be a dream vacation for others but for me it's just a normal day of being a military child!. From my point of view being a military child is unique but sometimes also challenging. As a military child! you get to travel, meet new people but sometimes you have to move. In my opinion being a military child is the best but if you still don't believe me keep reading!

My first reason is traveling. A lot of military children like to travel like me. One of my favorite places is the aquarium. I love seeing the fish and the sharks. Another one of my favorite places is the orange picking place. I got lots of oranges with my dad. I loved it! I definitely like the mall. I got lots of clothes and stuff I need from there! so that's just three of the incredible places I went to as a military child.

My second reason is that you get to meet new people. It's super fun to have friends! I think that playing with my friends is super fun. I love being friends with other military kids. One friend I play with almost every day is Ruth. In my opinion meeting new people is really fun. I even get to video call with them. I video call with my friend Eliana, Desireh. I love calling my best friends. I love having conversations with them. We talk about good things that happen to us or we play games. These are just a few things that I do with my friends I met as a military child.

At times, it is challenging because you have to leave family and friends, like when I had to leave my friends and move to Okinawa. I felt sad because I used to play with them every day but now I can't. Another example is when my grandma had to leave and move. I missed her but I'm glad she came back. I never wanted to leave my friends or family but you have to sometimes. So this is just one reason why being a military child is challenging but also amazing.

And you get to meet new people like my friend Eliana. But my least favorite part is leaving friends and family.
