The reason why my father is important to me when he retired out here in Okinawa I was able to explore my motherland. To see my mom's side of the family and to experience two different cultures and see the good and the bad from them both feel blessed in so many ways. One way I feel blessed is that I can travel everywhere around the world if I want to like Tokyo Japan and things like that. Life in this country is beautiful but it can get dark like anywhere around the world. Another thing I was able to experience is the culture of the Japanese people the respectful and the most indirect people you meet in your life somehow it works out at the end of the day.
