2025/Bennington-

Another grade, another base.

Another school, and I'm the new face.

Saying goodbye to friends and leaving is hard;

I won't forget the memories and friendships I made;

they'll stay close to my heart.

I don't really know what to expect,

When I arrive at a new destination.

But the military has definitely sent us,

to places beyond my imagination.

There are many more out there who are just like me.

We move around, make new friends, and then say goodbye.

But our strength, our bravery, our resilience—

this is what makes us, Proud Military Kids.
