Everywhere, I am a military child.

A new place, a new school, new people, and new friends.

Just like a new world ready to be explored;

But my dad is at work,

My mom is at home.

I don’t worry ‘cause he always comes home.

Everywhere, I am a military child.

We move again to a whole new place,

I hope it’s fun and my siblings do, too!

But my mom and dad hope for something new.

Every time we move,

I'm like a dandelion.

Adapting to anywhere it lands.
