I remember all the bases,

And all the packing cases.

I remember all the shops,

And the paratrooper drops.

I remember all the jets,

And how I used to fret.

I remember the friends

And people that I’ve met.

I'm used to being a nomad,

And I think,

It is not so bad.

I wonder what is next,

Each place

I can rest.
