From sakura-colored clothes and clear shores.

I am from the beaches beneath the palm trees.

It smelled of orange flowers.

I am from the coastal homes, aquariums, and kind neighbors.

The Land of the Rising Sun and steaming natural tubs.

Whose chill life I remember as if it were my own.

I am from “Already done.” and “Why are your grades so bad?”

And the Anime figurines.

From "I can't answer that." and "Calm down!"

I am from the destroyed structures and the blazing horizon.

With tornado shelters and music,

And ten foods I can make myself.

I’m from friendly faces and beautiful sundowns.

Purple projector and Minecraft.

From the Husky named Marco lost to the afterlife.

To my Pomeranian that makes me happy.

Under my bed was a box of clothes and items lost to time.

An egg of events of playing with friends

to drift beneath my dreams.

I am from those moments -

the foods I now miss before I sleep and wake up to my usual routine.
