I am from the land of Smiles,

from palm trees and clear seas.

I am from the night under the moon.

It smelled like fresh purple breeze.

I am from playful monkeys,

the entertaining shows

Whose intelligence I remembered as if it was my own.

I am from the rising sun and The Morning Calm,

from Phattphorn and Conner.

I am from the energy that’s never lost

and the exploring for water,

from stop and หยุด

I am from the mountain forest that thrives

with singing birds

and ten hikes I can do myself.

I’m the screen and the mouse,

controller and keyboard.

from the Chiefs lost to the ego

to the Super Bowl used to keep winning.

Under my bed was nothing spilling with blank,

A pile of dust

to drift beneath my dreams.

I am from those moments told before I was born

I am a leaf growing from the family tree.
