Being a military child is fun. It is fun because I get to travel to fun places, try new foods, and make new friends. Living in Japan I travel by train to go to fun places. I do fun stuff with my family like going to see the big Buddha in Kamakura, and going to Yokohama to eat. I like many foods in Japan. We ate at a restaurant called yakiniku. They have mochi, steak, and ramen. Being a military child, I have to move to new places. When I get to new places I make new friends! I like to make new friends at school. I get to hangout with my friends on base. Sometimes my dad leaves on the ship and it makes me nervous and scared. When dad comes back it makes me happy! When dad comes back home we spend lots of time together. This is why I like being a military child!
