My life as a military community member is happy. I am happy because I sometimes get to move and make new friends. I don’t get to move that much. I have lived in Hawaii, and Japan. Sometimes moving is hard because I have to say bye to my friends, but we stay in touch and continue to be good friends. I have a best friend named Kenzley. Her dad is in the military so she is a military child. I get to still be with my best friend and my friends.

I also like to go to different places to try new and delicious foods, like ramen and sushi. My favorite food is strawberries. The Japanese strawberries are the best in my opinion. They are so juicy and so sweet. My mom makes the best miso soup. It is nice and warm, and tastes sweet and salty. I love eating noodles called udon. Some can be cold and it is so good. My mom is Japanese so I use chopsticks to eat my food.I still use a fork and spoons though. I also love eating sushi. Sushi was my favorite food but now ramen has taken over so ramen is my favorite.

I love going to different places like Hawaii where I was born, but in Japan there are a lot of amazing places to go like Universal Studios and Tokyo Disneyland. I love Japanese amusement parks. They are so fun and have a lot of scary rides. I don’t need to move so much so I can stay in Japan and do fun things. Also my favorite place in Japan is Yamagata. I love visiting my grandparents and my cousins. This is why my life as a military community member is happy.
