I have lived in houses that never became homes, where the walls knew my name, but never for long. I have traced maps with my fingertips, learning cities and towns like fleeting friendships, and faces that blur into memories before they can settle. Each place welcomes me with open arms, then lets me go just as easily. I speak in hellos that already sound like goodbyes, mastering the art of leaving before I have a chance to stay. I have learned to carry my life in a suitcase, to feel a sense of belonging not from certain places, but from the pieces I take with me.
