Yokota High School
They come with boxes, to a land so foreign Welcomed by the heat of this quiet island.
Their hellos so soft, but their goodbyes softer Oh how I have learned to miss them no longer.
Like a dandelion, they soar in the breeze As I sit patiently- planted firm, left to freeze.
Yokota, the place to which I stay true- A quiet witness, as the old turns new.
