Suitcase Poem

I was young when I moved here

Far away from my known Tucson

In my suitcase I brought my photos from the last two years

There, I met a pair of twins who longed for a friend

I met a girl just like me, our names the same

“Don't say that” I could my brunette friend say disappointedly behind me

The blonde one sat giggling watching this commotion

Along, miles away lays my friends of imagination and inspiration

On this new base I found a park and would soon call it my home

This time when I close my suitcase I bring 6 new girls in my memory and one place left behind in my heart.
