My military life

Family is my home, literally. Being born as a military child who had to PCS three months after being born to a country 10 hours away by plane, home has never been a specific location. My house may change every three years, but my Home is always with me. I grew up feeling envious of my peers who had a permanent residence they were able to go back to any time.

Having a permanent address to put down on paper, something I won't experience until I purchase

my own home, given I do. One thing the military child life gave me is my trait of being adventurous. Due to changing environments every few years, I started to yearn for new scenery and exploration. This is a trait I love for myself. Other than exploring new environments, I was given the privilege to explore new cultures and people. Some experiences are only attainable by being born as a military child and I’m so grateful to be given that privilege.
