2025/Caleb-

My name is Caleb and I'm a military child. I am ten years old. I'm going to tell you all about my life as a military child. I live in Okinawa right now. Okinawa is a pretty nice place. Other places I have been to are California and Iwakuni. Some good things about California are the beaches because they actually have big waves. Some good things about Iwakuni is that it snows. The good thing about being a military child is meeting new people. Another highlight is finding out about new foods and finding new restaurants. Some new foods that I have discovered are kimchi and a restaurant called Yakiniku. Some challenges I have experienced are losing a bunch of great friends and having to meet new people. Another challenge is getting used to time differences and figuring out the places that I have moved to. Some advice I would give to military kids is to stay in contact with people. If you don't have a phone, ask your parents to get the other parents’ phone number. This is what my experience as a military child has been like.
