Hi, my name is Damian. I am 10 years old, and I am a military child. I am going to tell you about my life as a military child. As a military child you have to go somewhere and move, but it is fun to try something new. Also, your new experience may be a plane if you have never been on one. I have lived in California, North Carolina, Japan, and Georgia. All of those states are really fun. The positive thing about being a military child is you make a lot of friends. Also, when you move you may meet extended family that you haven’t met before. That is the positive thing about being a military child. Military children also have challenges to face. These challenges are like your mom or dad leaving for deployment. Also, another challenge is leaving your aunts or cousins that is sad. If I had to give some advice to other kids, it would be if you are going to be a military child, understand that challenges are always going to face you. Another piece of advice is that if you have any traditions, do them before it's too late. Because if you do them early you can do those traditions before you move.
