Hi, I’m Ellie =^). I’m 11 and I’m a military child. I’m going to talk about being a military child. I have been to 4 different places-South Carolina, Japan, California, and Virginia. Right now, I live in Okinawa. I have moved around maybe 5 or 6 times. I have been to Universal Studios and Disney World. I have made a lot of friends and been to a lot of places. But being a military child is hard =^(. Clearly, you have to move around a lot. I’m actually moving this year, and I don’t look forward to it. You have to leave all of your friends behind. Also, you will see your family less. My dad is in the military, and he is often on an overseas business trip, or somewhere else, so I see him a bit less. There are some good things about it, too! I am interested in lots of things I may have never known about if I never moved. You can meet all kinds of new people and explore lots of new places. It can be fun sometimes =^). If you are afraid of moving, don’t worry too much about it. It will be hard at first, but you will get used to the new place quickly. Personally, I don’t like being a military child, but you could love it. Bye <3!
