I like being a military connected child because we get to go places and explore, right now we are in Tokyo, Japan.
As we were waiting for people, after we got on and off the first train we were waiting in the Shinkansen station, our stuff was set by a pillar as everyone sat, waiting, we decided to go find something to eat. Especially since it was almost night and we were all hungry, and no one had dinner.
“Can we go explore that store?” I whined hangry and bored. “Since we're still waiting for more people?”
“Yes” My mom said, trying to sound happy but like me, I knew she was also hungry, we were all hungry especially since it was about 5:00 p.m. About an hour later we were finally on the train which probably looked like it was going fast but didn’t feel like it if you were on the train. On the inside though it looked very nice, although you could barely see outside because it was about almost midnight.
My brother was as annoying as a siren. He was asking questions like “Are we there yet?” and “I'm bored”. Because it was already getting late and we might get there even later I thought it might not be bad to get some shut-eye. The chugging of the train was almost a lullaby because I felt as sleepy as a sloth. When we arrived, it was about night like nine-o-clock.
