Supportive best friends

All anyone could ever ask for.

And yet,

I wander aimlessly.

With all the paths

And all the opportunities

Of the military child

Offered at my doorstep

A life of travel

A life of meeting those from all corners of the world

A life of living on a military base

A life of fresh beginnings and bittersweet ends

I wander aimlessly.

What am I supposed to do with this?

How am I supposed to contribute to the society?

That expects so much of me?

Become a doctor? Lawyer?

Me, really?

A lazy try hard

With a brain emptier than that of an orange cat

With a tendency to draw on schoolwork

And without a clue of what to do

With their life

I wander aimlessly.
