Life as a military child is hard because I have to leave my friends and family but it is fun too. For example, I get to see new places like Texas, California and North Carolina. I’m in Okinawa, Japan right now.

Being a military child, I get to experience new things. For example, I also like to go to Coco’s with my family. I also like to try new ramen. I got to visit Shuri Castle in Okinawa. I liked it when I got to look into the tanks, and other trucks a few years ago.

Being a military child, I move around a lot. There are things I like and things I don’t like about it. For example I like living in my tower on base because my friends also live near me. I also like meeting new people when I move. However, I don’t like leaving family and friends behind though.

I had to leave my dog, Bandit, when we left North Carolina. Another thing I don’t enjoy is taking long plane rides. It hurts my legs to sit on the plane for so long! My family and I had to go on a long plane ride when we flew to Okinawa.

I like being a military child. I think you would want to be a military child because the life is fun but hard.
