Kinser Elementary School
My life as a military child is exciting because I get to see new things and taste new food and snacks. For example, the things I have seen in Japan and Okinawa are Cherry Blossoms, Tokyo Tower, Disney, Universal, and Osaka Temple. Additionally, I would also like to see Osaka Sky Tree, the Tokyo Sky Tree, and so much more. In Okinawa, I have eaten the following foods which are very delicious, ramen, sushi, and curry. I also get to try new snacks such as shrimp chips, dry fruit, and seaweed. I also like to travel to new places and so far, I have lived in Idaho, North Carolina, and Okinawa, Japan which is where I am right now.
The things I do not like about being a military child are I have to move away from friends and family every 3-6 years. For example, when I was in North Carolina I was closer to my family. But here in Okinawa, Japan I am really far from my family. I really do not like moving to new places because I have to go to a new school and meet new teachers. For example, when I was in North Carolina I knew all the theaters. When I moved to Okinawa, Japan I did not know a single theater or student in the school. But now I know most of the teachers in the school.
All together being a military child is fun and unpredictable.
