I have many reasons I enjoy being a military child. I like to travel to new places. For example, I have been to San Francisco and San Antonio. So far, I have visited places like South Carolina, Ohio, Salt Lake City, California, and I lived in Germany for 4 years. One more reason I like to travel is because I love planes and watching movies on the airplane. Also, going to new places gives me opportunities to learn new languages. I really like to travel because you get to try new food like sushi and meet new people. Another reason I enjoy being a military child is because I get to live on base which is safer than living off base.
I also have many reasons that I don’t enjoy being a military child. Some reasons are leaving friends and pets behind. I had to leave behind a pet dog in Texas. What I also dislike about being a military child is that sometimes my mom will have to leave and not come back for a long time. For example, she left in January and returned home in March. She also works long hours and I cannot spend a lot of time with her.
Being a military child is hard and stressful, but it can also be a really fun and awesome experience.
