This quote illustrates the fact that most military families have children, so they focus on their children and families as a motivating thought. While there may be many motives for joining the army such as patriotism or a sense of duty, protecting their families is the number one reason. It’s imperative to support those 2 million children for many reasons. However, the main reason is because they boost motivation for parents waiting to see their children again. If not, why has April been dedicated to military children? Or why is there so much focus and care for military children aka “Military Brats”? The reason is as simple as it could be: because they are of importance to their parents who serve in the military. “Our family is Army Strong. The strength from our soldiers comes from the strength of their families. The army knows that the decision to join its ranks is not a solo one.It requires the support and encouragement of the entire family.” ~ Quotemaster.org, I chose this quote because it represents that not just being in the military strengthens these soldiers but as the people at home waiting for them to come back safely or even write a letter back to them about how they’ve been so far. A strong military family can strengthen our country because it supports their military relatives. I say this because I was a military child. Military personnel are surrounded by family and friends who support them. Since they chose to be in the military to risk their lives to make ours better. Overall though in this military month take a moment to be grateful for not just the military, but their supporters too.
