Many people think that there are many cons about being a military child, there are also pro’s and con’s for the experience. First off, the pro’s about being a Military child is that people move once every 3 or 2 years and those who move can make a large amount of friends, others can also experience the culture of other countries you move to. For some people they haven’t moved anywhere when their parents are in the Military, many friends have to move away from their home countries and they can feel lonely about the idea of them moving. Their parents go on the ship a lot and there was barely any time to see him. When friends are coming and going away, it makes others feel emotional because that’s a con for being a military child.
During the time when children are younger, they see parents leaving their families, when parents leave the child, they can get trauma from them leaving or even getting depression. On the other hand, when someone moves away to another country they can learn the basics of a new language. When parents go to the navy it can really cause depression for kids if the parent leaves for a long amount of time. It is neutral for parents to leave for some kids and many parents are ok with leaving their children while they are on the ship or in a long time in the office.
