Being a military-connected child can be simple,

it's not like a zit or a pimple.

it’s the month were we celebrate,

the people who try to keep us safe.

But

sometimes you have to move,

it gets sad so you don't hit the groove.

so you've moved to a new base,

I mean at least you know it's safe

so you walk around then you stumble upon your

school you see a sign that says ‘the month of the

military child’

I mean now that's divine

but what does it mean?

well, thats what im telling you it's about the children who have to experience their parents leaving early and them coming home late

so that's why we celebrate,

so a year later you have moved

but you don't approve

so you cry

you think you might die

but remember this base is absolutely safe.
