To take care of a military-connected child can be hard work for parents. Ways to take care of us is to first reassure us that it will be okay. Next, encourage us to make friends at our new home. My mom told me that and it helped a bunch. Since I’m a military-connected kid, moving became normal, but leaving my friends behind will never feel normal to me. I realized that the more I move, the more friends I make. That is the best thing about being a military connected kid. Take care of all military children.
