April is the Month of the Military Child,

Honoring the strength and resilience they hold,

In these times of pandemic and uncertainty,

Their courage and spirit continue to unfold.

Through deployments and frequent moves,

Military children face unique challenges with grace,

Yet, in the face of COVID-19,

Their resilience is put to the test, in a new place.

Adapting to virtual classrooms and social distancing,

They show their strength and ingenuity each day,

These children of service members, heroes in their own right,

Deserve our recognition and thanks in every way.
